Douglas Reilly
Board Member
Douglas is currently the Vice President of Lucasfilm Games and has been with the company since 2006. Prior to working at Lucasfilm, Douglas worked at Broderbund/The Learning Company in Novato as in-house counsel specializing in software production and development and intellectual property. Douglas has lived and worked in Marin for over 40 years. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for Vivalon since 2020 and became Board President in 2023.
Beth Reizman
Board Member
Beth, a long-standing member of the Marin community, retired in 2022 after 40 years as a commercial banker, the last 25 years with Bank of Marin. As Chief Credit Officer and a member of Bank of Marin’s Executive Management Team, Beth helped set the strategic direction for the bank and contributed to its growth and success. As Chief Credit Officer and a member of Bank of Marin’s Executive Management Team, Beth helped set the strategic direction for the bank and contributed to its growth and success. She has extensive non-profit board experience, including leadership roles on the boards of Marin Workforce Housing Trust, Novato Human Needs Center, and North Bay Children’s Center. Beth currently is the past President and serves on the board of Vivalon. She has also been a long-time volunteer in her Lucas Valley community. She holds a BA degree in Economics from Stanford University.
Linda Lippstreau
Board Member
Linda Lippstreu, a long-time resident of Marin, has been a banker in the county for over 30 years. Linda began her career at First Interstate Bank in the early eighties as a Lending Officer. She worked for Union Bank managing the Kentfield Office for nine years before joining Bank of Marin in 2009. Linda currently is the Market Manager covering Southern Marin where she is actively involved in community outreach with local organizations and nonprofits, business development and relationship management.

As both a volunteer and board member for the past 15 years with Marin Center for Independent Living, Linda currently serves as Board Treasurer. She has been involved with Marin Aging and Disability Institute since its inception.
In addition to her work with Marin Center for Independent Living, Linda has volunteered her time and leadership with a number of non-profit organizations in Marin. Linda served on the board of the College of Marin Foundation, volunteered for Adopt a Family providing financial literacy training and is currently a committee member at By the Bay Health.
Linda holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Economics from University of California at Berkeley.
Paul S. Castro
Board Member
Paul S. Castro serves as Senior Consultant with Applied Strategy Associates, specializing in executive coaching, organizational development and interim executive services. In 2018, Castro retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles (JFS), a multi-faceted, multi-service social service organization serving more than 100,000 individuals and families annually throughout Los Angeles.

An active member of the national and regional non-profit community, Castro has served as Interim Vice-President for the National Network to End Domestic Violence and as Interim Executive Director of the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. Castro also serves on the boards of Evident Change, the Aldersly Retirement community, the Marin Jewish Community Center and Vivalon (formerly Whistlestop).
Castro has served on the boards of Families International, the Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Agencies (AJFCA) and the California Jewish Public Affairs Committee (JPAC). Castro is a past chair of the board of the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, a former board member of the Alliance for Families and Strong Communities and a former member of the Nonprofit Finance Fund Healthy Outcomes Initiative Advisory Group as well as a member of the Community Advisory Board of the Los Angeles Community Academic Partnership for Research in Aging (L.A. CAPRA). A native of Los Angeles, Castro has over 40 years of professional and volunteer
experience in the non-profit sector. He has worked tirelessly throughout his career to further the opportunities for disadvantaged and disenfranchised communities in the areas of social justice, philanthropy and fundraising. In addition, he has effectively advocated for services for the most vulnerable members of the community at the local, state and federal level. Castro has served as adjunct faculty at the American Jewish University and Hebrew Union College graduate programs in nonprofit management, teaching and mentoring future nonprofit leaders in the areas of governance, advocacy, civic engagement and ethics. Castro graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a B.A. in ethnic studies and holds a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.
Eli Gelardin
Board Member
Eli Gelardin Is the co-CEO of MADi and serves on its board of directors. He also serves as the CEO for the Marin Center for Independent Living (Marin CIL). He has 17 years of experience working in the field of disability justice. During his 13 years of leadership at Marin CIL, the small grassroots and peer-led organization has expanded capacity to serve a diverse community of over 1500 individuals with disabilities (including older adults) every year.

Marin CIL prioritizes equal access and racial equity and plays a key role in supporting community members in accessing long term services and supports through “One Door” across their lifespan. To expand this hubs & spokes strategy Marin CIL partners with local healthcare payors as well as other safety net providers and community-based organizations. In 2019, Marin CIL and the County of Marin’s Aging and Adult Services established California’s 6th designated Aging and Disability Resource Connection.
Eli translates his personal experience into his professional roles. He served as a two-term Governor appointee to the California State Independent Living Council (Chair from 2013-2014) and currently Co-Chairs the statewide ADRC Advisory Committee. Locally, Eli serves on the boards of the Aging Action Initiative, the Marin IHSS Public Authority, and the World Institute on Disability. Eli is thrilled to bring his passion and experience into the role of Co-CEO of the Marin Aging and Disability Institute. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and son and honors the memory of his daughter, Oliva, every day through his work.
Jason Lau
Board Member
Jason currently serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for Student Life, Finance and Administration at Santa Clara University, and Associate Faculty for the Work Experience department at Santa Rosa Junior College.
He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy & Leadership Studies from The University of Iowa, BA (summa cum laude) and MA in Leisure, Youth and Human Services Admin from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to moving to the United States, he served as a registered social worker for a non-profit charity named TREATS which brings together children from varying backgrounds and abilities, providing them with opportunities for equal participation, breaking social barriers and developing personal and social skills in Hong Kong.
Jason volunteers on multiple non-profit boards and County Commission, including Marin County Child Care Commission, the Marin YMCA Advisory Board of Managers, YMCA of San Francisco, Friends of China Camp, Marin Chinese Cultural Association, Asian Scholarship Fund and the Marin Center for Independent Living (Marin CIL). He is currently the elected chair for the Marin Community College District’s Citizen Bond Oversight Committee which is responsible for overseeing the $265M general obligation bond program.

Colleen Arnold

Colleen’s life’s work has been grounded in disability justice and equity. Her passion for innovation and leading organizations through strategic change and growth make her uniquely qualified to guide MADI through its next phase of development.

In 2015, Colleen built her business, Arnold Advocacy, from the ground up. Identifying a vital need for private advocacy services for families of children with disabilities. With her doctoral level expertise in special education, she has been able to offer a very specialized skill set for the individuals with disabilities and their families in Marin and beyond. Over the years, her company has expanded in size and scope and now services multiple counties with a sustainable business model.
As board president of Matrix Parent Network and Resource Center, Colleen led the organization through multiple changes in leadership and worked diligently to ensure stakeholders were confident in their capacity to meet and exceed deliverables. Acting as both an ambassador and a de facto Executive Director during times of flux, she ensured the organization stayed grounded in its mission to empower families of children with disabilities to successfully understand and access the systems that serve them.
Colleen’s extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit and education sector, extends to her consultation in the non-public school setting. She was brought on by Cypress School to lead the organization to improve performance, propel growth and drive change.
Colleen’s substantial intersectional disability experience, both personally (identification as an adult with a non-apparent disability) and professionally make her well placed to lead MADI through this critical period of growth, innovation and change.
Maria Rodriguez
Director, Operations and Administration
Maria brings extensive experience leading strategic initiatives and managing projects with non-profit organizations. Having worked as a consultant and senior level leader for numerous organizations from small community based, to large multinational, she has a wide-ranging perspective and an ability to work with and lead people at all levels within organizations as well as in the community.

She also had a long career in the private sector including a managerial role at Hewlett Packard where she led a remote international team.
Most recently Maria worked with the Pacifica Resource Center identifying organizational needs and implementing capacity building. Streamlining processes, training staff and conducting outreach with key leaders in the community in order for PRC to reach the next level of maturity, obtain a wider audience and be recognized for its significant contributions.
Diane Krantz
Advisor
Since 2011, Diane Krantz has helped organizations focused on older adults advance their missions and launch new initiatives. Drawing on her strategic planning, facilitation and project management skills, she partners with her clients to shift models and narratives around aging. Her recent projects include helping to launch the Encore Intergenerational Vaccine Corps for Encore.org and serving as project manager for the City of San Francisco’s Reframing Aging campaign.

Committed to serving her Marin County community, Diane has been a Steering Committee member of the Aging Action Initiative, a Board member of The Redwoods and a Commissioner of the Marin Women’s Commission. Previously, she spent 15 years as public finance investment banker for several Wall Street firms. Diane received her BA from Brown University, an MBA from NYU and has completed a number of workshops on group facilitation.
Sara Robinson
Age and Disability Friendly Project Manager
Sara is a skilled strategic planner, fundraiser and community builder having worked with schools, nonprofits, and faith institutions on the East Coast. As a gerontologist, Sara provides strategic technical assistance and plan implementation oversight while building partnerships with cities and communities within the WHO/AARP and California Age-Friendly and Age and Disability Frameworks.
