Join Us!
ICS, MarinCIL and Marin Aging and Disability Institute (MADI) invite all disability stakeholders to collaborate with us in launching the Marin Disability Coalition. Informed by a disability justice framework, the Coalition will promote greater disability representation in policies, practices and decision-making around issues that deeply impact people with disabilities along with their families and caregivers.
Our initial work will target three priority areas: housing, caregiver support and emergency preparedness/response. By joining existing efforts in these areas, we will contribute to “de-siloing” systems change work at the same time as we support leadership and advocacy skill development among people with lived experience.
